Refugee Healthcare Providers
Compassion without limits. RHCP works across Uganda’s refugee settlements and the communities that host them, so every refugee can reach quality care — wherever they are.

RHCP is a registered Ugandan non-profit working in refugee settlements and the host communities around them — running mobile clinics, training Ugandan health workers, and connecting patients to the specialised care a settlement cannot provide.
From primary care and mental health support to reproductive health and emergency response, our programmes are built with communities rather than delivered to them.
Care that lasts is care local people own, so every clinic we run doubles as a training ground for the health workers who will still be there long after a response ends.
Community-based clinics, chronic disease care and emergency referral, delivered where families already live.
Family planning, safe motherhood and adolescent health services across settlements and host communities.
Trauma-informed counselling and peer support for people carrying the weight of displacement.
Training the health workers, women leaders and young people who keep care running after a response ends.
Sustainable healthcare for refugees goes beyond clinics. We combine medical care, education and community empowerment — designed with the communities we serve.
“The prenatal care from RHCP made my pregnancy safe.”
Fatuma S., motherStep 1
We begin with the leaders, midwives and volunteers a settlement already trusts, so services are designed around what people actually need.
Step 2
Mobile clinics carry consultations, medicines, screening and counselling into settlements and host villages that sit hours from the nearest facility.
Step 3
Community health workers, women leaders and young people are trained to run screening, referrals and health education themselves.
Step 4
Partnerships with hospitals carry patients through specialised treatment, and our teams follow up so recovery does not stop at the clinic door.
To serve as a beacon of hope and support for refugees by delivering compassionate healthcare, fostering empowerment and advocating for their rights.
Our vision is a world where every refugee has access to comprehensive healthcare, regardless of their circumstances or geographical location.
Founded in Kampala and registered with Uganda’s NGO Bureau, RHCP is rooted in local leadership, partnership and sustainable solutions that respond to the changing needs of refugees and vulnerable Ugandans.
